Life is full of trials and challenges that we often view as bumps in the road or bookmarks in our story. However, it's important to realize that amidst all the obstacles, there are also many WINS to be celebrated. To truly appreciate these victories, we must first understand that everything God does is ultimately for our good. Even the small things that He blocks us from can be truly amazing, if we take the time to acknowledge them. All glory to God! (my praise break).

As I reflect on all the difficulties and obstacles I've heard from others and even some of my own, I can't help but think that we missed out on something great. You may have done everything right to secure a job, from updating your resume and writing an excellent cover letter to sending a thank you note to the employer after the interview, and still didn't get the job. Then a few months later, the company shuts down or the position is eliminated. That's the WIN, God didn't lead you to a job that would leave you jobless.

You may have had a close friend for years, but you didn't notice the red flags until you worked together, which ultimately ended the friendship. You may wonder why God had you work together if He knew this would happen. The WIN is that He had you work together so that you could sever ties with a relationship that no longer served you.

You get into an accident, and suddenly, your world is turned upside down. You need a rental, you'll have to wait two months for your car to be fixed, and your insurance won't cover it all. But you just got a promotion and have been saving. That's the WIN, God adjusted your position in life to put you in a place where you could handle a situation like this. Yes, it's frustrating, but you have the financial means to handle it.

When I find myself in challenging situations, I take a moment to reflect and ask myself, what is the ultimate victory here? Despite any strong emotions I may be feeling, I try to understand how God has positioned me to succeed in this trial. By focusing on Him, my perspective shifts, and I am able to approach the situation with a more positive and productive mindset.
